Things To Do In Gold Coast

A short list of the top things i personally think you should do
But there are so much to do to cover in just a few days! I went for 4 nights and it was barely enough to cover! It was a nice teaser though!

Gold Coast - Surfer's Paradise! Famous for the themeparks and schoolies!

Accommodation
Find accommodation in Surfer's Paradise! Everything's in Surfer Paradise - all your facilities (shops, beach, restaurants, cafes, clubs, some activities like Infinity, Ripley's Believe it or Not museum etc) it's a lively city! Especially in the time you're going since it should be schoolies still..  Everything's in walkable distance except for the Theme parks + Westfields Shopping Centre (which you can get to by bus, via gcshuttle.com.au)
I stayed at Mantra and I liked the resort alot :)

Plane
Jetstar or Tiger Airways! Should be cheap flying from Brisbane..
I find Jetstar more reliable than Tiger Airways ..
their both discount planes so they're somewhat on par?

Getting Around
Depending on how many days you go, the price will vary

Theme Parks!

I think these are the main theme parks. Some of these theme parks do deals in conjunction with each other.
Sea World + Wet and Wild + Movie World = VIP Pass $99.99 unlimited entry until 30th June 2014 (for non locals)

I've only been to the three above listed in the VIP pass.. but I heard that White Water World and Dream World is a must! :)

You can basically go to one theme park for half the day, hop on the bus and go to the next one. That would be one hectic day though. . It's hectic but not impossible.

I love the scooby doo ride! but you may fancy the superman ride more ;)! the daily parade is something to look forward to, imo haha

Activities To Do

Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets
Since you're in Surfers Paradise.. pop by the beach at night time! Every Wed, Fri, Sun night they have markets set up! it's awesome! Last time when i went they had some sand art set up. it was pretty cool!

Infinity
I absolutely loved Infinity! It's in the centre of Surfers Paradise. Walkable distance. no need to bus it or anything. it was a maze! it's so fun to do! much more fun to do with more people but I did it with just E and we had heaps of fun! I recommend it to anyone that goes to Gold Coast!
$20 to $25?
I completely was scared at some points because it was pitch dark and you don't know where you're going! Overall, it was so fun! It's so trippy.. all the lights.. etc.
They say you spend about 40 minutes in there, I only took about 20 minutes. It's a short activity yet fun :)

Clubbing
I haven't been clubbing there.. But i'm sure once you start walking around the streets, whilst you're shopping or searching for food.. your'e bound to be given discount entry or passes into some clubs. Have a try but remember stranger danger.

Overall recommendation on how to plan out your gold coast trip
IMO, I think you should spend the day at the theme park then when you're back in the CBD, go do things like Infinity, mini golf, shopping, or Beachfront Markets! :)
